Merge PDF Files

Pick several PDFs, put them in order and combine them into a single PDF. Your files are never sent to a server: they are merged right here in your browser, so tax forms, bank statements and ID scans stay on your device.

Merge order 0 files

No files yet. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to change the order.

Choose two or more PDFs, then tap Merge PDFs.

      How to merge PDF files

      1. Tap Choose PDF files and select the documents you want to combine. You can pick several at once; choosing again adds more to the end of the list.
      2. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons to set the order. The file at the top becomes the first pages. Remove a file you added by mistake with ✕.
      3. Tap Merge PDFs. The result is ready in a few seconds – save it with Download merged.pdf.

Every page is copied as-is, keeping its size, orientation, fonts and links, and the text stays searchable. Need only some pages of a file? Pull them out first with Split PDF, then merge the result.

When a single PDF is required

If you would rather not hand tax returns or ID documents to an unknown website, this tool is a good fit: the merging happens entirely on your device and the file contents never leave it.

      Frequently asked questions

      Are my files uploaded?

No. Your files are never sent to a server; they are processed only inside your browser and are gone from memory when you close the page. The browser downloads the PDF library (pdf-lib) once, and after that merging even works offline.

How many files can I merge?

There is no fixed limit. Your device's memory is the only constraint: a computer handles hundreds of pages easily, while on a phone a few dozen files and under 100 MB in total is a safe range.

Can you make the merged file smaller?

No – this site doesn't offer PDF compression. Shrinking a PDF properly means re-compressing every image inside it, and in a browser the quality loss is hard to control and text can end up turned into pictures. The merged file is about the size of the originals combined. If an upload limit is the problem, split the file into parts with Split PDF instead.
