How to split a PDF

  1. Tap Choose a PDF file. The total number of pages appears once it's open.
  2. Pick a splitting method.
    • Extract a page range: creates one PDF with just the pages you list. 1-3,5 means pages 1, 2, 3 and 5; 8- means page 8 to the end; -2 means pages 1 and 2. Type 3,1,2 and the pages are saved in that order – a quick way to reorder pages.
    • Every page: turns each page into a one-page PDF and bundles them in a single ZIP (the page number is added to each file name).
    • Every N pages: enter 2 and you get pages 1–2, 3–4 and so on. The last file holds whatever pages are left.
  3. Tap Split PDF and download the result. On a phone, where ZIP files can be awkward, use the buttons below to save each file individually.
